Joe Moreda, A.I.C.P.
Overview
Joe Moreda is a certified land use planner with an extensive thirty-four (34) years of experience in a broad range of land use and program supervisory matters. Joe’s specific expertise includes the review and preparation of reports regarding rezoning and site engineering projects, land development code and procedures manual text amendments, variances, code interpretations, Comprehensive Plan amendments, Developments of Regional Impact (DRIs), Historic Preservation, and Community Development Districts (CDD).
Joe’s career as a planner began in the public sector, where he served as a Division Director and Zoning Administrator for Hillsborough County. During his tenure in the Zoning Department, Joe spent a vast majority of his time making presentations to hearing officers, citizen groups and elected officials, providing counseling and clarification as needed.
Joe is a proud Bay local, having been born in Tampa, and he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He avidly supports all of his hometown’s sports teams in his free time, and can often be spotted cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, as well as the Rays. When he’s not in the stands, he enjoys various forms of auto racing.
